Taiwan trip- Day 2 野柳地質公園 & 台北车站地下街
Hi there, I'm back from my Taiwan trip since yesterday. Before blogging about my daily trip in detail, I would like to give a rough estimation of money I have used throughout the trip. Just a guide for those who plan to visit Taiwan :)

In total I have used almost 3k for my 10 days 8 nights trip in Taiwan. Overall, the foods, hotel and shopping are cheap. Well of course depends on what you eat, where you stay and where you shop. Sadly to say that transportation at Taiwan are consider quite expensive.
Here are the draft that I made:
Airport fare: Rm525 (Mum book it while Airasia having promotion)
Food: ~Rm500 (estimation)
Transportation: ~Rm516 (if you're taking their MRT and buses quite often, it is advisable to take their Easy Card known as 悠游卡. You can purchase it at any Taipei train station. By purchasing this card, it will give you rebate ever single trip you go. Basically, its something like our Touch n Go).
Hotel: Rm571.82 (we check in 4 different hotel/民宿 throughout the trip)
Souvenir: ~Rm200 (estimation)
Shopping: ~Rm478 (estimation)

For now, I will be talking about my daily trip. You must be wonder why do I start off with day 2. It's because day 1, all of us just did sleeping in the hotel as we reached Tao yuen airport at 10.25pm.
Caution: It will be a overloaded picture post.

Our very first hotel. Damn pahlia. Don't look at me as this hotel booking is done by mummy. Well. Can't blame her as well. She was cheated by some hotel booking web lol.
Front view of the hotel
Look how antique it is. It's actually something like a controller to adjust the brightness of the light in our room
For now let's list down the pros and cons of this hotel.
Pros: cheap, cost only Rm147.20 for 2 nights but I think you can definitely find other hotel that are way better than here; breakfast provided
Cons: inconvenient location, long walking distance to MRT; wifi is only available at the first floor; air condition not cooling, quite stuffy, no remote control to adjust the temperature; reception service okay only depends on who serving you, if its young lady (morning shift) then they are friendly and have good manners, if it's aunty (night shift) then you're in good luck as I don't like her attitude. The way she speak is a little rude as if she's scolding you.

First stop of Day 2, we went 野柳地質公園 which is famous for its natural rock formation. MRT cannot reach this place. It's either taking taxi or bus to reach there. We go for bus as its cheaper.
Direction: Purchase bus ticket at Taipei Bus Terminal A. Take bus 1815 which comes every 20 minutes. The bus ticket cost NT178 for 2 ways. Travelling time require 1 hour and 30 minutes for 1 way.

Bus ticket
Bus will drop you somewhere near here and then you are require to walk 10 minutes to reach 野柳地質公園

Some random pictures I took throughout the walking distance

This is a primary school. So nice!

Finally we reached! The entrance fee is NT50

From here onwards, it will be picture spamming of 野柳地質公園

Almost all the pictures taken here, you barely can't see my eyes as the sun were too striking there

With mummy ^^

Spectacular view!

Breathtaking scene!

Looking back all these pictures, makes me feel relax

Mummy look cute here

The famous Queen Head

This is Queen Head II which is man made. Specially made for tourist who can't wait for the long queue at the Queen Head

Overall experience: A must visit place if you're visiting Taiwan. It is a beautiful place with awesome view. My advice is to bring umbrella along if not you'll getting sun burn like me and mummy do although it's not serious but you'll definitely become tanner if you leave your umbrella behind.

Had  lunch at  阿雪蚵仔煎  which is nearby the bus stop. The food was not bad and cheap as well. 7 dishes only cost NT1070! I bet M'sia you can't find such a price!

After that, we head back to Taipei Main Station, mummy wanted to check out their 地下街. I was like *Yes! Shopping time!* lol.

Brought this mickey mouse ear ring cost NT100. yea. I know its not consider cheap but I find it cute so I just brought it without thinking ><

I tell you it is a must to buy flats here as its super cheap! 2 pairs selling off at NT350 only! Although its cheap but they are comfortable and in good quality as they are made from Taiwan not China. For your information, flats here are cheaper than those at 士林夜市.

That's all for Day 2! Stay tune! I will continue blogging when I'm not lazy xP
