It was Mother's Day yesterday. Did you spend some time with your mum?
For me, it was rather simple. We celebrated it last saturday (to avoid crowd) by just having simple steamboat family dinner together. It was our treat (bro and me shared the bill).
This year's mother day, I planned to do something different, maybe just a small surprised for her. As I were scroll through Groupon website, I saw a page specially for Mother's Day so I clicked on it. Saw lots of sales on flowers then suddenly I realized in my entire life, I never brought flowers for my mum before so I have this urge to brought her those flowers without thinking much. Completed the order and waited for its arrivals the whole day yesterday! Thank god, my mum was surprised I think. At least I saw her big wide smile, that's enough for me ^^

The pink and red carnation bouquet I ordered for my lovely mummy
This is the only picture I have
I realized its hard to take a picture with my mum, she forever have an excuse not to -.- |
Somehow, I realized as I grow up as an adult, I don't expressed my love towards mum like how I did when I'm a kid by making a card, kiss her on her cheek etc. I don't know why but usually we-asian will have this kind of "There's no need to expressed it out as they will understand the meaning behind" mindset therefore we don't really say "I love you" to our family members face to face just like western does. We somehow feel its awkward for doing so. We usually expressed our love through gifts which is consider comfortable zone to us, I think. Anyhow, I hope my mum get my "secret message" on how much I care and love her although I don't always show my love side but mum, I promised I will always love you and I will try to make you feel proud of me even though I know I'm far beyond there but I will work hard to achieve it!
